Home-made Goodness II

1. spaghetti 2. fusili 3. kiam cai th'ng (咸菜汤) 4. fried tofu

Another day of home-made Italian cuisine. This time, the spaghetti and fusili were drenched in juicy scarlet tomato pasta sauce. Oh yeah... Not to forget the traditional Chinese dishes which I love so much --- kiam cai th'ng (pickled lettuce soup aka 咸菜汤) and fried tofu. The latter tastes heaven when you dip it in chilli sauce! I think it's more apt for me to call it an East-West fusion meal. :)

HAR?? *scratch head*

咸菜汤 and fried tofu are also Italian cuisine??

*pengsan*

Haha... Don't pengsan!

Basically, what I meant were the spaghetti and pasta. And in addition to my Italian feast, there were 2 Chinese dishes, hence an East-West fusion meal!

P/S: Really that confusing meh?

I'm a fan of pasta - spaghetti, macaroni, linguini, all of it! I have a feeling I'd be eating quite a bit of this Down Under, and not so much Chinese food anymore...

I'm also a big fan of it! But if it's eaten too often, you'll get fed up with it pretty soon. So my advice is to take everything in moderation, especially these kind of food!

I'm sure many of your blogger friends would post up more Chinese food pics in the near future to remind you of the taste of home!

Not that confusing but you should have put the "fusion" first instead of Italian cuisine.

;)

That's because I wanna stress the continuity of my post from Home-made Goodness I, where I had pasta earlier.

Hey hey hey...

I just joined the world of food-loving bloggers recently, so there's still much room for me to improve leh... :P

But I'm a very poor guy, thus most of my posts are of home-cooked meals. :(

How come your spaghetti looks like laksa to me??? Are you the chef? I love spaghetti bolognese, which I cook myself. So far, the pastas I tasted outside are all HORRIBLE! Home-cooked is best...yeah...

kyh said...

LOL! Maybe the colour of the noodles (or is it the ingredients?) makes you think so? Their colour in the other photo I took was spaghetti yellow. But that one was not beautifully shot, so I had to opt for this one.

No... I was not the chef. How I wish I was! The only thing I know how to cook for the time being is instant noodles!

Wow! You know how to cook it? Maybe you should let me taste your cooking one fine day lol... :P
